Your project, in practice.
Q.01Can you build the whole project, or just part of it?
Both. For Imogen, I handled all development, from the Django back-end to the front-end. For WhatisEAT, my freelance role covered front-end implementation and connecting it to a Django back-end built by others. We agree on exactly what I'll take on.
Q.02I have an idea, but no specification. Can we get started?
Yes. Tell me who will use the tool, what they need to do and what gets in the way today. A few screens, a spreadsheet or your current way of working can be enough to start. I'll help you decide what to build first.
Q.03How do I know whether AI would be useful for me?
Give me an example of a task that takes up your time: searching documents, copying information between tools or drafting replies. We look at what AI could handle, which data it needs and what should still be checked. The test: does it actually make your work easier?
Q.04What can I do with the findings of a security audit?
You'll know which weaknesses were found, what to tackle first and how to fix them: excessive permissions, a vulnerable dependency, an exposed secret or a configuration issue. I can also implement the fixes. If the work includes penetration testing, we agree on its scope and written authorisation before starting.
Q.05I already have a designer. Can you work with them?
Yes. On Imogen, Alice Lemaire created the design and I handled the development. I work from the mockups and discuss interactions, animations and mobile behaviour with the designer. You keep your art direction; I turn it into a working interface.
Q.06What exactly do you handle for an AI video?
I start with what you want to show: a product, a brand or an idea. I write the sequence, define the visual direction, generate and select the shots, then edit them together. I handle the video production, from writing to the final version, for your website or social media.
